Healthy Eating Guide:

DON’T FORGET TO DRINK:

It is best to drink mostly water with some coffee, tea, and/or coconut water throughout the day. Water is essential, coconut water is naturally hydrating, and coffee and tea both have antioxidants and health benefits. Choose filtered water, pure 100% coconut water, and organic coffee and tea.

Choose wisely. Try to find a place that serves organic food or a juice/smoothie bar:

BUYING SNACKS:

Again, choose wisely! Snack time should be thought of as fuel time. Your meals are your main food supply, but sometimes we need something to get us to our next meal. Snacks should do just that: fuel you right and get you to your next meal. A piece of fruit and a handful of nuts or some veggies and a source of protein are great healthy choices. Try to always have a little protein when you eat.

INDULGE WISELY:

Want to indulge? Craving some chocolate? My favorite go-to is Green and Black’s Organic 70% Dark Chocolate, but these Peanut Butter Cups are great, too! When buying chocolate, you want a high cacao percentage. Cacao is the natural form, so it is preferred, but life isn’t perfect and sometimes you’re not in the right place at the right time. Make the best decision you can or try to hold off to a time you can make a wise decision.
